The Mississippi Valley Chapter Ninth Annual ASHRAE sporting clays outing will be held at Bi-State Sportsman Association in Colona, IL. The ninth annual ASHRAE sporting clays outing will be held at Bi-State Sportsman's Association near Colona, Illinois on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 3:30pm. The purpose of this outing is to relax and have fun while raising money for ASHRAE Student Activities. We will have snacks and non-alcoholic drinks at the club for each shooter after the event. To assist in the Fund Raising, we have individual shooter & squad sponsors (squad of 5). Please note - if you have a friend or acquaintance that would like to participate or donate, invite them as well! A sign will be located at the course indicating squad sponsors. To guarantee that we can get your name and logo on the sign we must have all logos by Friday, June 4th, 2021. The cost for individual shooters is $70 which includes course fees, clays, course fees, ASHRAE donation, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. The cost for a Squad Sponsor is $350. This includes shooter and sponsor recognition and a 5 person squad. Any donations above the $350 fee will go towards ASHRAE Student Activities. Note: Shells are not included in any shooter/sponsor fees. Shells can be purchased at Bi-State Sportsman’s Association at the counter, the day of the event. 100 shells (+/-) are required for each participant. No larger shot size than #7 ½, lead shot is allowed at this course. The setup of this sporting clays outing has a capacity of 60 shooters. We will accept the first 60 paid shooters, so get the entry forms and money in early to guarantee your spot now. You will need to bring: Shotgun100 shells (#7 1/2 or #8 shot). Shells are also available for purchase at the club.Something to carry your shells in (backpacks or ammo boxes work well).Eye and ear protection (mandatory!)Comfortable clothing and shoes for the weather conditions, it is about 1/2 mile walk around the wooded course.Please contact the Sporting Clays Chairman with questions: Brian Hodgin 563-388-6533 [email protected]
