This is full-time (30+ hours per week to start). We are based out of Murphy, NC. Come see why working in the mountains at Carolina Mountain Solar offers you the perfect work/life balance. We install in Northern GA and Western NC. We are in growth mode and searching for career-minded people with a lot of solar experience in either leading a solar rooftop crew and/or years as an electrical apprentice in the solar industry, wiring inverters, batteries, etc. We are looking for a leader who wants to grow with the company! Requirements: • Must be able to manage a 2-to-4-person solar install crew • Must be professional and reliable • Follow all safety, fall protection, PPE policies, and procedures • Determine installation materials, equipment, and install sequences necessary to maximize quality and productivity. • Collaborate with electricians, project management, and other staff as needed • Assemble and install solar mounts, racking, inverters, modules, and batteries • Focus on efficiencies in the installation process and improve the existing process • Service, troubleshoot, remove, and reinstall PV components Qualifications: • Must have at least 2 years of residential or commercial solar experience • Must be comfortable climbing ladders and spending time on roofs • Familiarity with wiring inverters, batteries, etc. a strong plus! • Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable • All potential candidates will be subject to a drug screen and background check We offer a competitive wage for our market and a signing bonus for candidates who really know how to install solar.
