In an effort to foster strong family bonds and values, the MCBD has created Family Game Night...UNPLUGGED! Although your children may find it hard to believe, there was a time long, long, loooong ago (like when you were a kid) when families used to gather around the table, look one another right in the eye, and play real-life, interactive games together, well into the night. In an effort to foster strong family bonds the Marshalltown Central Business District has created Family Game Night. To keep the nostalgia of the good ol' days alive we are having it completely UNPLUGGED! Each family will have their own table to play the game of their choice from a selection of one of our games! We offer games from age 3 to Adult, ranging from Uno to Monopoly. Your family can enjoy an old classic or discover a new favorite! Remember families can include friends too. The event also features a dinner served before game time. This month the event will take place in the party room of Smokin' G's BBQ. The buffet style menu includes: Brisket and Pulled Pork Sandwich BuffetMac and Cheese, Green beans with bacon and onion, apple sauceAny non-alcoholic beverageSnacks during game time (no refills)Ticket price includes gratuity. Buffet will be one sandwich per person. After all guests have gone through the line if there is any left over food guests will be allowed to go back for seconds. All games are on a first come first serve basis; there will be no reservation of games. Games will not be available until after dinner service is completed.
