Seeking part-time court maintenance technicians (20-30 hours per week) to maintain and upkeep our 10 clay tennis courts. Candidates with experience in maintenance of Har-Tru courts a plus! Must be flexible to work varied schedule including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. Primarily the job requires early morning hours between 5am and 9am. Hourly rate of $16 and up based on experience. We are currently looking for two candidates for this position. One for the weekdays and one for weekends. If one candidate should choose to work both shifts that is an option. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: This position requires the willingness and ability to learn specific skills (if tennis maintenance is new), and the ability to lift materials weighing 80 pounds multiple times. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Daily Tennis Court Maintenance: • Blow the walkways, patios, and under court canopies. • Empty Trash Cans • Wipe Down Tables, Benches and Chairs • Brush the Courts • Line the Courts • Water Courts as necessary • Replace Court Material as Needed. • Check all lines to ensure safe playing conditions • Check wind screens and zip ties • Weed the courts and pick up debris Minimum Requirements • Ability to develop full knowledge of tennis maintenance procedures. • Positive, well-mannered attitude and demeanor • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, bend stoop and reach, and stand for extended periods of time. • Ability to read and deliver verbal communication effectively. • Knowledge of Irrigation systems or willingness to learn Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16 per hour Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: • One location Hours per week: • 20-29 or more depending Work Remotely: • No APPLY ONLINE:
