Application link: ACRT Pacific is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Contract Forester Manager role. This position is meant for employees with experience working in PG&E Vegetation Management programs. The Contract Forester Manager is responsible for providing leadership to vegetation management contractors (tree trim, or pre inspection) and ensure focus on the groups’ objectives. This position will solely support the transmission project in the North Coast South region. They serve as a communication liaison among the utility customer, PI contractors, tree trim and the public. The Contract Forester Manager is responsible for various tasks that can be field related, monitoring databases, management of projects and carrying out overall project goals. The position is a great fit for someone who has experience working on utility vegetation management programs and is ready to take the next step in their career. Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license 2 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR in lieu of a degree, 2 years of experience in line clearance tree pruning work or utility vegetation management work ISA Arborist Certification required within 1 year of taking the position Minimum of one year experience working on the PG&E Utility Vegetation Management contract required.
