Press release from the Hingham Public Library: April 20, 2021 As part of the next step in Hingham's municipal phased reopening process, the Hingham Public Library will reopening to the public in a limited capacity on June 1. Town Hall and the Senior Center will return to full in-person staffing on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. In addition, the Recreation Department is moving forward with a wide array of spring and summer programming. June 1 was chosen as it gives Town employees and residents the time and opportunity to get vaccinated once the vaccine becomes available to the general public on April 19. As of April 8, about one quarter (27%) of Hingham residents were fully vaccinated. We will continue to make the health and safety of our residents and staff our top priority, while still delivering a high level of service to the community.
