CONCORD, MA — All Massachusetts residents over age 16 have been eligible for the vaccine for over a week, and this week's state vaccine data provides a look into the beginning of that rollout. Over 380 Concord residents under the age of 30 have received at least the first dose since eligibility expanded. Nearly 70 percent of Concord's oldest residents — people over the age of 75 — have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state's data. About four in five residents ages 65 to 74 — the second oldest age group — are fully vaccinated. Forty-four percent of Concord residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 39 percent last week. Just over a fifth percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. Roughly 2.48 million people have been fully vaccinated in Massachusetts, the state reported Thursday. Concord reported 14 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up April 24 according to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "green" zone.
