BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly reached a deal to extend quarterback Lamar Jackson's contract for another year.
His contract for the 2022 season is expected to be about $23 million, according to Sports Illustrated.
Jackson was named NFL Most Valuable Player this year, joining Tom Brady in 2010 as the only player to receive all 50 first-place votes for the award.
He finished the last season with 3,127 passing yards, 1,206 rushing yards and 43 total touchdowns.
Jackson put together a historic campaign in the 2019 season. The second-year pass thrower out of Louisville was the first player ever to produce over 3,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing in a single season.
