Northwest Flagging is a well-established full-service traffic control company located Washington. We provide services in the greater Washington Area, We are currently looking for motivated workers with a great attitude, good people skills and a passion for safety. Experience preferred, but not required. We offer competitive wages, certification classes, on the job training and can provide Personal Protective Equipment. Duties: • Controlling traffic in work zones on public roads. • Protecting the lives and property of workers, drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists in roadway work zones. • Installing and removing traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades, etc). • Standing for long periods of time on cement & various surfaces for extended periods of time, possibly as much as 8-12 hours per day in weather elements including; exposure to hot and cold temperatures while controlling a signaling device (paddle). Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age. • MUST have reliable transportation • Valid driver’s license • Must be able to work well with others to coordinate work. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. .Must be reliable and punctual. • Must be able to maintain a positive, professional attitude in sometimes stressful traffic situations.
