Whether your vibe is country twang or heavy metal, there's something for everyone at the Dallas International Guitar Festival, which runs today through Sunday at the Dallas Market Hall. As the oldest and largest guitar show in the world, the fest reaches young and old, collectors and fans, and musicians famous and unknown. Patrons can shop, check out showcases and experience the sensory overload of an array of stringed instruments of every description. While there will also be keyboards on display in the exhibition hall, the weekend is really built around and geared for the hardcore guitar lover. The performance schedule, always a highlight, this year includes an assortment of players from around Dallas, the state and beyond.
