Press release from the City of Peoria: On Thursday, May 6th from 5:30 PM – 6:30, the city of Peoria will host an informational meeting on the potential creation of a City of Peoria Land Bank at the Gateway Building, 200 NE Water Street, Peoria, IL 61602. The meeting will have limited capacity due to COVID-19 state guidance. Masking and social distancing will be observed. This meeting will provide residents and members of the public an opportunity to hear additional information about the proposal to create a land bank in the city of Peoria. Assistant Director Joe Dulin will be available to answer questions and provide more information about the land bank proposal. City Council will hear and discuss a second reading of the proposed land bank item at the Tuesday, May 11th city council meeting.
