Handyman wanted for Residential punch list $30/hour (1) clean and replace silicone, calk in bathroom - a couple hours (2) foam to seal and then install 1/4 round in two small bedrooms - a few hours (3) paint touch up - a few hours (4) sand and re-stain very small portion of wood floor (optional) - a few hours (5) drywall replacement 3'x3' ceiling section (take out vent, patch, drywall, paint and repair ceiling crack) - a few hours (7) change out battery on HVAC - 5 minutes (8) replace broken glass from window (optional) - a few hours (9) replace a few ceramic tiles ((optional) - a couple/few hours (10) replace air filter - 1 minute (11) install outlet cover - 5 minutes (12) grout between tub and tile (optional) -a few hours (13) install plastic shower guards - 30 minutes (14) replace striker for door - 10 minutes (15) replace door stopper - 5 minutes (16) a few other small things We expect this to take 1 person around 2.5 days and 2 people around 1.25 days. $30/hour converted to flat fee 1/2 day rate $120 full day rate $240 Must have: (1) At least 3 references you can provide upon request (2) Your own tools (3) Be available on Saturday and/or Sunday to complete Punch List. You Must Be: (1) Dependable (2) Honest (3) Experienced (4) Can complete a project properly and on time (5) Know how long things take you so you can estimate time properly $30/hour = $62,400/year While we aren't offering full time work currently, we have several upcoming projects. If you think $62,400/year is a fair wage, we're looking for someone who's willing to work for straight hours converted to a flat fee based on this rate. We're not looking for someone who's going to look at an individual punch list item and mention how they can get x-hundreds of dollars by doing that job as a retail one-off somewhere. We're looking for like-minded, fair individuals who know how to do all of these things and want to make $120 a half day, $240 a day or $30/hour (equivalent to $62,400/year.) converted to a flat fee with cushion. If you have a very high skill level and want an additional base pay rate, we are open to discussion at a specific rate, not for a specific line item or job. ***Not only must you be good at what you do, but you should also be excellent at figuring out how long a task or line item will take, as it's the difference between you making what you expect to make or being very off and disappointed. Knowing how long things take is paramount to everyone being happy. While we know this is Craigslist, we have had great experiences finding amazing people here.
