Second GoFundMe Effort Started For Concord Apartment Fire Victims

CONCORD, NH — A second fundraising effort has been created to assist tenants on Bog Road after an apartment building was destroyed by fire. Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the Pinewood Village Apartments on Monday for a fire. The blaze, which went to two alarms, left two dozen units destroyed and many people homeless. The day after the fire, Fel Isenhower started a GoFundMe effort to raise $3,000 to assist her sister, roommates, and cats to get resettled. In 24 hours, the effort raised $3,560. Now, Isenhower has started a second fund — seeking $20,000 to assist the dozens of families left homeless. "The fire destroyed almost half the complex and is now due to be shut down, forcing every family that lived there to fend for themself and find new homes," she said. "This GoFundMe was created to support the families in need of assistance during these trying times. After the success of our first campaign, "Expenses caused by fire damage", which was hosted to support three tenants that lived together inside the complex, we decided to start this campaign."
