New powder coating shop in Englewood is seeking a Prep Technician to prepare objects and materials for the powder coating process and to unload completed work in preparation for customer pick-up. This will include inspecting items, light sanding, wipe down with solvent, hanging object efficiently on our overhead rack system. Unloading items, transporting items around shop, gathering coatings from inventory and returning items to their correct inventory location. You will be part of a team that makes products beautiful and durable. Apply today! Job Requirements: Willing and able to lift heavy weight (100lbs+) multiple times per day. Have attention to detail and act upon it. Honest, reliable and punctual. Willing and able to learn to drive a forklift. Understand and speak English. Helpful abilities (NOT required): 5’10” or taller. Mechanically inclined. Valid driver’s license. Speak Spanish. This position is appropriate for an entry-level employee, but experience is helpful. Paid Holidays. Paid Time Off begins accruing immediately. 7:30 to 4:00 daily (30 minute lunch). This position will have the opportunity to learn how to powder coat and operate all of the equipment associated with our processes: Sandblasting, Powder Coating, Curing Oven, Fork lift, inventory system and customer interaction.
