Press release from the City of Carlsbad: April 29, 2021 Buena Vista Joint Powers Committee Vacancy The City of Carlsbad is seeking residents interested in filling a vacancy on the City of Carlsbad Buena Vista joint Powers committee for the term May 2021 to May 2025. Applications for this volunteer position are available on the city's website or in the City Clerk's Office, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive. Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by noon on Wednesday, May 26. This committee is made up of two City Council members and one Carlsbad resident who serve on the Buena Vista Lagoon Watershed Coordinating Committee with representatives of Vista and Oceanside. Term: May 2021 to May 2025 Meetings are held every odd numbered month on the third Monday of that month from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Meetings are currently being held via Zoom to adhere to COVID guidelines.
