I’m a 26 year old bassist, I was in one band before and my experience is limited but I love to goof around and create. I can kind of sing but not too well. Baritone. When it comes to music making, I do consider myself serious and am looking for other people who are willing to start a kind of serious prog/rock/pop/j-pop band with me, with the intent of doing a lot of trial-and-error songwriting. My bass playing style is unusual and bombastic and I think if some like minded folks joined the cause we could make something pretty neat. I don’t care what instrument you play. I don’t even care if you play bass too, The Omnific has two bassists and they’re awesome. Let’s just get along and make good music. It’s important also that you please: -be roughly in my age range, plus or minus five or so years in either direction. -have similar tastes: I love prog, jazz and J-pop, with a smaller soft spot for technical death metal, if you can believe it. -be creative, more interested in making our own music than anything else. I absolutely do not want to play any cover songs. I want to make some friends and then make music that people haven’t heard before, then get up onstage and expose them to it.
