CORNELIUS, NC — Five Cornelius businesses — including a bank — reported crimes to police this week, according to Cornelius Police Department. CPD also issued nearly two dozen citations, many of which were for charges including speeding, driving with a revoked license and failure to yield, according to the police blotter. Cornelius police made one arrest last week. Woody James Allison, 40, was arrested April 21 on Old Statesville Road, charged with misdemeanor second degree trespass.
