Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/23/2021 Preliminary information: On April 23, 2021, at approximately 5:14 pm, Officers responded to a person shot at North St & Ruth St. Upon arrival, Victim was laying in the middle of the roadway and had sustained several gunshots wounds. The victim was transported to Grady hospital where he later died. Homicide was called out to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and to identify anyone involved. The victim's identity has not yet been released as this investigation is ongoing.   Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and could change as the investigation progresses or new information comes to light.This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
