ATLANTA — An Arizona homicide suspect was recaptured after escaping police early Thursday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, authorities say. J'Saan Carlos Strover, 20, was charged with first-degree murder in relation to a February shooting death in Phoenix, and was being transported back to Arizona by authorities from Maricopa County. According to reports from the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, a manhunt led by area police, the Sheriff's fugitive unit and U.S. Marshals caught up with Strover late Thursday night. College Park Police received a tip about a man fitting Strover's description walking down the street barefoot with his hands behind his back. Strover fled into a nearby wooded area when an officer spotted him, authorities said. Police used night vision to find him and arrested him without incident shortly before 11 p.m. "Fulton County Sheriff's deputies on the Fugitive Unit are escorting Strover back to the Fulton County jail," Sheriff's officials tweeted.
