Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 04/29/2021 211192030 Preliminary information:  On April 29, 2021 at around 9:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of AKRIDGE ST NW / CHAPPELL RD NW on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male with gunshot wounds.  He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  There is no suspect information to provide at this time.  Investigators were notified and will be responding to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.
