Description
Four guinea pigs need a new home.
Two females (both brown) and two males (one brown and one mostly white). I will not home them all together, and will not separate the pairs. I am willing to meet up this weekend and am willing to deliver for a small charge to anywhere within about three hours (Kansas City, Tulsa, etc). These guys are rescues from a pretty sad situation so are desperately in need of a forever home. About four months old so you'll have plenty of time with them.
They are very interested in what is going on around them and will run up to the side of the cage for attention/treats. They are a little skittish when being picked up still but love to get floor time and will sit in your lap and allow petting. None of them have shown any aggression at all.
Basic guinea pig care knowledge required for adoption.
Guinea pigs are more expensive and more work than the average small mammal and require veggies, hay, and pellets every day and lots of room to roam. Veggies are NOT optional and can be expensive to provide. This is not a small commitment since these little guys could very will live to be 8+ years old. The long haired guineas will need regular grooming throughout their lives as well. They will go home with a nail and hair trim and I'm willing to work with you to help with trims in the future if needed. You will need a vet with small mammal experience as not every vet will take "exotics".
If for whatever reason you are ever unable to take care of them I do ask that they come back to me so I can work on rehoming them.
If interested, please respond with the following information to ensure a good home:
- food you will be feeding them
- cage you will be housing them in
- which pair (male or female) you are interested in
