Beautiful male parakeets ! Both of them are 2 years old. The green one is a great breeding male. However the recessive pied seams to have a weaker constitution so I would not suggest breeding him. He looks like a female because his cere is not blue but based on his behavior and the fact that recessive pied budgies don't get the blue cere; I am fairly certain it's a male. They are not human friendly but the would make a good pair for someone who wants birds to watch. They have been together for a long time and get along well so I would prefer them to go together.
