Job Description Kendal Floral Supply in Carlsbad is seeking for Seasonal Associates for: WAREHOUSE WORKERS and FLORAL ASSEMBLERS to start work May 1st, 2021! ******Seasonal work starts on Friday, May 1st and ends Sunday, May 9th approximately. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Package bouquets/arrangements into cartons and /or buckets according to recipe specifications. Verify UPC has correct information. Place bouquets in sleeve according to recipe specifications. Place rubber band and floral wrap on finished product. Unpacks flower bunches from boxes. Removes sleeves from bunches and replaces with new sleeve and UPC label. Ensure and place greeting card and floral preservative food correctly. Check bouquet quality. Palletize and label finished orders. Shrink wrap finished pallets or rolling carts according to customer specifications. Pull and safely transport flowers from cooler to the production tables. Maintain a clean and organized work area during the day and at the end of shift. Takes buckets out of the work area and dumps cardboard inside a compactor. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in a refrigerated(COLD) environment from 45 degrees Ability to read and write. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to follow directions. Ability to move/lift buckets and boxes frequently up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm PLUS Overtime 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm PLUS Overtime ***Must be able to work daily overtime You may earn a $200.00 bonus based on attendance! Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
