honey bee swarms

Description

Swarm season is here! A lot of people panic when they see bees. They assume “swarm” means “attack” or that these are “killer bees” (we do not have the Africanized, aka “killer,” honey bees in Ohio). Swarms are simply nature’s way of forming new colonies. It happens with wild honey bee colonies and can happen with maintained honey bee colonies. If you happen to see something like this dont spray and message me on Facebook. I'll come pick them up and set them up in my apiary. For your troubles you will receive a jar of honey! Thanks! Chris
