Upright bassist needed for jazz project

Upright bassist needed for a jazz/originals project. We are currently a trio wanting to expand to a quartet. Material will be standards, (but) no real books. Our performance material will be arranged to accommodate experimentation and improvisation at a very high level. We currently consist of myself on tenor sax and flute, a jazz guitarist, and a jazz drummer. We rehearse in Korea Town at the drummers project studio. Rehearsals start on Friday (5/14). If interested, please inquire through email. Our goal is to gig at LA's top jazz clubs, private events and city of LA sponsored jazz concerts, which pay very well.
