Fabricate and assemble signs and sign components. Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal (mostly aluminum); operating welding and soldering equipment to join sheet metal parts; operating a channel letter bending machine, assembling letters with rivets or other fasteners; reading construction documents; operating a machine that cuts trim cap for channel letters, applying plastic trim cap; smoothing seams and joints of sheet metal burred surfaces with orbital sanders; installing LED modules and wiring signs; packaging signs into boxes or crates for shipping; building crates. All candidates considered; sign industry experienced applicants desired.
