We have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Installer. JOB SUMMARY This entry level position is considered an apprenticeship to learn the installer knowledge & skill set. This position requires overnight traveling. The person must also adapt well to change since our scheduling is tied to a construction schedule which is constantly changing. Flexibility is a key component. Valid driver's license is required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent military or trade school, preferred, but not required. Experience: Entry Level Apprenticeship Skills: Self-Starter General knowledge of basic electronics; strong mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills A construction background will be beneficial in understanding how to adapt our equipment without creating conflicts for other trades. Ability to take direction RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to take direction from experienced installer/field supervisor Work within the guidelines of the scope of work To assist an experienced installer on the following: On-site installation of banking equipment to include electronic security equipment, alarms, CCTV and remote teller units. Installing security equipment purchased by customer. Utilize customer relations skills to maintain a highly professional image. Repair equipment problems to completion by making the required adjustments or replacing defective parts as necessary. Keep updated log to be used as a reference when troubleshooting future similar repairs. Maintain effective control and care of all company property (i.e. vehicles, tools, stocked parts inventory, etc.) Maintain positive relations at all levels throughout the organization, both within the organization and interdepartmentally. All administrative requirements are to be submitted accurately and timely to include: timecards/adp, expense reports/concur, trip logs, parts return Due to the nature of WBS' business, all qualified candidates will be subject to a drug, criminal background and driver's pre-employment screening.
