Furniture Delivery Driver - 26’ Box Truck Driver or Helper (Arlington) compensation: $750-$1200/week employment type: full-time Furniture Delivery Driver of 26' Box Truck, Mover, Moving (CDL Preferred) Warehouse location: Arlington, TX Salary: $750-$1,200 per week Full Time Only, Paid Weekly Monday-Saturday You want have a 6 day pay period very often. PLEASE EMAIL RESUME ONLY *** MUST HAVE FURNITURE DELIVERY or FURNITURE MOVING EXPERIENCE *** Number of deliveries/pickups - 8 to 17 per day it’s very sudden you get 16-17 stops Driver need to be self motivating, clean, organized and have strong time management skills. Driver Job Summary - Safely and efficiently drive 26' box truck - deliver, assemble and install residential furniture within the agreed upon time frame. - Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition for delivery - Accurately and safely load/unload truck, checking items for damage. - Wipe down and touch-up furniture to ensure successful delivery. - Deliver, move and/or install furniture in a safe manner and within agreed upon time frame. - Follow and maintain delivery route within agreed customer delivery windows. - Report all pick-up and delivery issues to dispatch - Provide world class customer service. - Keep the truck organized, clean and equipped. - Listens to and resolves service complaints. Helper Job Summary - Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition for delivery - Keep the truck organized, clean and equipped. -Help bring in items for driver to assemble. -Keep back of truck neat and clean, have next stop ready to take off truck. Job Qualifications • Experience: 2+ years related job experience and training • Licensing: Valid driver's license and safe driving record • Background: Clean criminal background & Drug Test • Communication: English required, bi-lingual a plus • Abilities: Ability to lift 100 pounds Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Service orientation • Organization • Time management • Active listening • Problem solving • Punctuality
