Full Job Description Excavation, sewer, and water laborer is responsible for: Setting up job sites to ensure proper safety and traffic precautions using traffic cones, signs, and proper flagging techniques Reading ground markings for existing underground utilities Using excavating equipment to dig down to existing underground utilities or removing ground for new sewer and water installation Driving to and from job sites in a single axle dump truck Some hand digging around sewer and water pipes Saw cutting and removing asphalt and cement Making proper sewer connections and installing new sewer lines with the proper pitch Making proper water tap connections and cutting off existing water lines Running new water & sewer lines from building foundations to street connections Setting in place catch basins and other heavy material using machinery Properly back filling new installs Inspecting and properly cleaning up job sites Reporting to management with all job updates Job Type: Full-time Pay: (depending on experience) Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends Experience: • General Labor: 3 years (Preferred) • Foreman: 3 years (Preferred) • Operating small equipment: 3 years (Preferred) • Sewer and Water: 3 years (Preferred)
