$200-250 Per Event Hiring event staff for events throughout the Los Angeles Area. We are an event production company and provide sound and lighting services for Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Corporates etc... The job involves meeting at the event sites (Hotels, Event Halls, Private Venues), unloading truck and setting up sound & lighting equipment, and strike at the end of the event. Most setups last about 3-6 hours on average and pick-ups last about 1-3 hours on average. We are mostly booked on week-ends and sometimes throughout the week.Most setups start in the AM/early afternoons. Strikes are at nights anytime from 10PM-2AM. Prior experience suggested. Pay rate varies based on events descriptions, if techs are required to stay on site for the event, length of setup/strike, amount of events on same day, location etc... From $200-250 per gig or $300-400 per day rate on days we have multiple setups or if we need techs on site for the show. We've been having consistent events even throughout Covid. Anywhere from 1-6 events per week. This is gig based, and we send schedules out monthly with revisions and updates as we go. Having transportation is a must. Living in the valley area is a plus!
