Fort Hill Farm crew positions available on organic vegetable farm located near the center of New Milford. Work as part of a team, mostly hoeing, hand weeding, harvesting, and packing fresh vegetables. We are looking for fast paced, reliable, energetic workers. Job requires the ability to work at ground level and repeatedly lift 35 lb harvest totes. This is outdoor work in all kinds of weather, both good and bad. Tolerance for heat, humidity, cold, and rain a must. Rewarding outdoor work, with great people, and no synthetic pesticides. Work available mid May through October. Work day is Monday -- Saturday, weekday summer hours 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM and Sat. mornings 7AM to 1PM with one Comp afternoon off each week. Hourly rate starting at $14 per hour. Overtime pay after 40 hours per week. Seasonal work available mid May through October. All hires must have appropriate documentation for working in the United States. Everyone welcome to apply.
