Landscape Labor (North Charleston)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Landscape Laborer will assist in the care and maintenance of the Commercial Property to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Landscape Laborer will be responsible for operating all basic landscaping equipment such as a lawn mower, weed whacker, edger, and backpack blower.
SCHEDULE
This work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime will be available during the summer months.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Perform landscape labor duties as required by team lead.
2. Operate basic landscaping equipment such as a zero turn lawn mower, weed whacker, edger, and back pack blower.
3. Wear proper and required PPE.
4. Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted while maintaining the quality of work.
5. Exercise extra caution during inclement weather. Weather may restrict the ability to complete work.
6. Report any equipment issues to site leader.
7. Active, physical work involving occasionally; lifting (50+ lbs), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching. Frequently; walking, standing, and driving and operating equipment for extended periods of time.
8. Perform all other duties assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.
