Element Farms is seeking a reliable and punctual delivery driver who is great at waking up early and has good customer service skills. The role requires about 30-40 hours of driving per week in our refrigerated reefer vans (and occasional box truck). You’ll deliver to supermarkets in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and New York City. Want to work more or fewer hours? Let's talk! The ideal candidate has some delivery driving experience, is happy to drive into NYC, and is local to the Lafayette, NJ area. No CDL necessary. *Must clear background check and driving record check.* ROUTES AND NECESSARY AVAILABILITY: Must be available Monday - Saturday for routes, though days off will be built into your schedule. Route length depends on location. Current routes may include New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. City driving experience preferred. Must arrive at Lafayette, NJ, facility early mornings (around 4 am) on delivery days for product pickup. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Load boxes of fresh produce from greenhouse facility, ensuring accuracy of the orders -Make on-time delivery stops as specified -Present invoices to customers for signature -Maintain cleanliness of cargo van -Return van to greenhouse after completing deliveries REQUIREMENTS: -Valid driver’s license -Proof of clean driving record AND willingness to submit to record check -Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs -Strong customer service skills -Must be able to pass a background check -Positive references COMPENSATION: $18/hr
