Come do yoga with us in the backyard!
Deep Stretch is a class that has fewer poses than a traditional hatha style yoga class. Each restorative pose is held for 2-3 minutes (or as your body allows) in order to dig deeper and reach those places that may be missed in a faster paced flow type class.
We will give our bodies the ability to find balance, increase joint mobility and decrease stress in this class.
Please bring your own mat and props are welcome and highly encouraged. If you need a mat, please let us know!
All levels are welcome.
Keyana is a retired Purple Heart veteran, wife, and mother that found yoga to be a safe place during her deployment and physical recovery post-injury. Experiencing freedom and growth on the mat first hand, she became committed to supporting others in their journeys of healing.
After obtaining her certification at the 225-Hour Level, she decided to further her educational training by completing additional masters training through Holy Yoga Global. Her passion to be more effective in supporting her local community inspired her to move on to obtain specialized certifications in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Yogalates, and Fertility Yoga.
Keyana has a passion for individuals struggling with PTSD to include combat trauma and sexual trauma. She also supports mothers in regaining awareness of their bodies after childbirth with a focus on core strength.
