A summer book club for 9 - 12 year olds. The plan is to meet every other week this summer (with a few modifications). June 8th would be the first meeting (at Commonplace Midtown), and it would function as a get-to-know you. Carol will discuss the books that will be read during the summer, and everyone can discuss what the best time of day to gather will be. After this initial meeting, the club will really get started on June 29th. It will meet on June 29th, July 13th, July 27th, and August 10th. It will cover a total of four books — a book every other week. That gives families and kids two weeks to read each one.
