Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us at the Worthington Resource Pantry! Help our neighbors shop for healthy meals! Where: Worthington Resource Pantry, 6700 Huntley Rd. Columbus, OH 43229 When: Wednesday, May 12th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm Event Leader(s): [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: All Columbus Gives Back volunteers are required to wear face masks and observe social distancing as appropriate to complete volunteer tasks. Volunteers who are sick, especially with fever or the growing number of Covid-19 symptoms, should stay home. We highly recommend that our volunteers wash their hands, use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of the event, and/or wear gloves. We will follow whatever safety policy our nonprofit partners have in addition to the safety precautions listed above. Any volunteers determined to neglect these precautions and put other volunteers or the people we serve at risk will be dismissed from the event. In an effort to keep our volunteers, event leaders, and non-profit partners safe we ask that each volunteer or event leader sign up for no more than one event in a seven-day period, in order to limit the number of individuals you come into contact with if you are exposed to Covid-19. If you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About Worthington Resource Pantry: The pantry is more than a food pantry. This is a resource center that educates, feeds, and comforts people who need a helping hand during rough economic times. They are committed to a building a healthy Worthington and engage the community be serving neighbors while providing them with opportunities to serve one another. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local!
