Live urban tree grafting event from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in front of the tasting room. Learn about tree grafting from Michael Leidy, a local Cider Enthusiast and Treekeeper. During the presentation, Mr. Leidy will graft cuttings from various cider apple varieties on to the ornamental crab apple trees in front of the cidery at 929 Broadway in Albany with the goal of creating a “frankentree”. Learn about specific cider apple varieties and how they are propagated.
