Hiring Movers for Local Moving Company! Good Neighbor Moving, LLC (GNM) is looking for professional and energetic Movers to become part of the team. No experience with moving? No problem. We’ll show you the ropes and give you the necessary equipment and training to look and play the part. We’ll partner you up with an experienced mover for your initial training with Good Neighbor Moving. You’ll never feel alone or left out of the loop. Here at Good Neighbor Moving, we appreciate open communication and a friendly relationship amongst each other. Good Neighbor Moving is based out of the Portland Metro area and currently provides loading, unloading, and general moving labor to our clients. We are currently only operating in the Portland Metro area and parts of Vancouver. However, we are always looking to grow and expand. Mover Pay: $15/hour Tips range from $10 - $40+ per job and go 100% into your pocket! Our Movers are frequently getting tips from our satisfied customers. While this is no guarantee, it is a great incentive and bonus to the job. It is not uncommon for our Movers to make over $100 per week in tips alone! Flexible Schedule: Good Neighbor Moving is willing to work with your availability and schedule. We hope to have a team of flexible and diverse Movers to fit our customer's needs. You'll have access to our interactive, self-scheduling-based system that will allow you to review job details prior to accepting a job. There is no limit to how many jobs you are able to perform each week! Requirements for Application: Valid Oregon Driver’s License 18 years of age at the time of hire Working phone, phone number, and email address Reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from job sites Physical fitness level that allows you to perform repetitive lifting, bending, standing, kneeling, walking up and down stairs/ramps, and overhead reaching. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repetitively and without restrictions. Desired Qualities: Professional tone, body language, and grooming standards. Willingness to provide terrific customer service and strive for pride in the job. Open availability as some jobs may be last minute or infrequent. Ability to communicate effectively. Additional Details: Movers will be provided 1 uniform shirt after the training phase. Additional uniforms and the necessary equipment to provide quality service on each job site will be available after the training phase.
