Hello Central Oregon Skateboarding Community, My name is Kyle, I'm 29 years old and I'm excited to start teaching skateboarding lessons this summer. I have been fortunate enough to call Bend home for most of my life. I picked up my first skateboard when I was 7 years old. Since day one I have always been passionate about this truly amazing sport. Watching skateboarding evolve over the last two decades has been a huge source of inspiration. Growing up and being involved in the skateboard scene has been a true blessing for me. I have met so many great people and have travelled all over the world following my passion. As someone who had mentors along the way who have helped me progress, I would like to pay it forward and do my part to help the next generation learn and progress the sport even further. I will be offering both private one-on-one lessons, as well as group lessons. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up. Classes will be broken up into age groups and skill levels. Each lessons will be designed uniquely for the group or individual. I will be working with each individual with their goals. All lessons will take place at one of the public outdoor skateparks. All participants or parental guardians will be required to sign a liability waiver. All participants will also be required to wear a helmet. Safety is my biggest priority. I plan to maintain a safe and fun environment where each participant will have the freedom to develop confidence and skill at their own speed. Lesson Rates and Options 2 hour One-on-one private lesson: $55 2 hour Group lessons (groups of 5) : $45 per person Availability Monday through Thursday 9:00am-7:00pm Friday and Saturday 3:00pm-7:00pm CLOSED Sundays All lessons will be scheduled after sign up. I will be filming the progress of participants who choose through out the sessions and all full season members will receive a full length part in our skate team video at the end of the summer. Additionally, at the end of the summer classes we will hold an event and demo for all parents to see the progress made over the summer. Full season members are those who take no less one lesson a week for at least three months. Please call or during business hours for more information or to schedule a lesson.
