We can host our Plant Sale Fundraiser this year! We'll have a wide variety of edible seedlings for sale Sat, May 15th and Sun, May 16th! We're baaaaack! Join us for our 9th Edible Plant Sale and kick off the growing season by purchasing your organic plants to support Peterson Garden Project. So many locally grown organic varieties of warmer weather crops will be offered, such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, edible flowers, and herbs. (Varieties listed below) Remember to BYOB (bring your own bag/box) to help us cut down on waste. Our Plant Sale weekend is the perfect time to plant these veggies - some years it's been too cold to plant during our sale days - this year just pick them up and take them straight to your garden! AND...we'll pop up in the space of the future Chicago Market. This space is huge, so we can all socially distance while shopping and have separate entrance and exit doors. We'll even have room for some growing experts in case you have questions. Our awesome host Chicago Market is a community-owned grocery co-op that exists to rebuild the connection between food producers and consumers. Powered by their individual Owners, each of whom own a stake in the store, the Co-op will feature local, sustainable foods from producers right here in the Midwest. Want to shop now?
