Experienced Carpenter / Tradesman needed for a team that specializes in residential repair, remodeling, additions, and custom homes here in Bellingham. Norse Construction is a small but talented group that takes pride in being able to build anything and build it the right way. Please note: You must live in Bellingham or within the immediate surrounding areas to apply for this position. You will work directly with the owner and should be able to run a project from start to finish. Please have at least three years of verifiable, full-time experience within the construction industry. Must have experience with all aspects of exterior and interior remodeling and building. Please know how to install windows and doors, laminate flooring, cabinets, sinks, countertops, base, case, siding, trim, sheetrock repair, lighting fixtures and switches, under-sink plumbing, and basic framing. Must have reliable vehicular transportation and a valid driver's license. Because we are a small company and work closely with one another, we are looking for someone who gets along well with many personality types and doesn't bring an ego to the table. Must be a motivated self-starter who can accomplish tasks and quality work on their own. You will often interact directly with the customers, so being presentable, having a professional demeaner, and being a good communicator is a must. Being a small company we have the ability to be flexible. We are looking for a great candidate that will help grow with us and enjoy the benefit of working with good people.
