The 2021 annual conference of the New England American Studies Association (NEASA), the theme of which is "Patriotism & Protest." NEASA invites proposals for individual papers and full panels examining evolving meanings of patriotism and protest; how protest, dissent, and unrest have shaped US history and culture; changing features and attitudes of American patriotism; the works of artists, critics, and organizations in shaping the nature of patriotism and protest; and more.
