Learn about how BHSU's Student Success and Career Development Centers are working to address workforce needs in Spearfish. Spearfish Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Black Hills State University (BHSU) recognize that talent attraction is one of the biggest challenges facing our local employers. That's why we would like to invite our membership to a FREE lunch on May 13 to hear firsthand how the BHSU Student Success Center and Career Development Center can assist with employment needs. BHSU's Student Success Center Director Kathleen Fitzgerald-Ellis and Career Development Coordinator Andrea Bakeberg will discuss how they prepare and connect students with part-time and full-time internship opportunities, job placements, career preparation programs and more, as well as how our business owners can get involved. Lunch will be provided by Tropical Smoothie Cafe of Spearfish. Registration is required . Sign up by 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 11 to reserve your seat.
