Hi all! My name is Aidan Pittman, and you can contact me at [email protected] or @aidan_pittman on instagram. I may live in Raleigh, but I have spent every summer since I was four at Atlantic Beach and am hosting this tournament to try to help give back to the community that has given me a home for the past 14 years of my life. When you donate and participate, all proceeds go to fund a safe and supportive environment for kids in Carteret County through programs within the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain. The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 19th and play will begin at 10:00 am. Please arrive at 9:30 am to register with your partner and prepare to play. The tournament will be separated into three divisions to make competition fair; beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each division will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize, which are a $25 gift card, $10 gift card, and a free T-Shirt, respectively. If you can, bring your own reusable water bottle, as there will be a space to refill them here. The tournament will begin with pool play, where everyone within each division will play within their pool in a round robin fashion. The teams will then be seeded based on their performance during the pool stage (determined by record with game score as a tiebreaker) and placed into a double elimination tournament. The final game of the tournament will decide first and second place, and a third place game will be played between the losers of the semifinal.
