I am a drummer/vocalist wanting to start an oldies band, playing music from the 50s/60s/70s with a little 80s rock and country. I sing lead and harmony vocals. I sing artists such as Dion, Music Explosion, Tommy James and The Shondells, CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles to name a few. I would like to seek a couple lead guitarists or a keyboardist and lead guitarist, and a bass player. Having a couple lead/harmony vocalists would be a definite plus. I currently don't have my own practice place so I am open to traveling up to 60 miles for practice and I'm open to traveling up to a 100 mile radius for gigs. I currently have a work schedule Tuesday through Saturday so my days/nights available for practice would ideally be Sunday and Monday. I'd be available for practice on a Friday and Saturday as well. It seems like there are hardly any oldies bands around so I would like to get a band going.
