In the second session of our Cabinet Making Series, will exam the various methods and techniques involved in drawer construction. We will discuss material selection, joinery methods and finishing options and how they influence drawer strength and longevity. Our instructor will demonstrate how easy it is to select and install the most appropriate drawer slide for different cabinet case applications with a variety of economical and specially designed jigs. Whether you are building a kitchen cabinet or fine furniture this session will be invaluable to your success. The class is small to allow you sufficient time to ask questions and gain assistance in your particular project.Safety Measures We’re Taking to Keep You SafeSocial Distancing - All of our classes have a low capacity of attendees and will allow for social distancing. Sanitization - Our classrooms, seating areas, and tools are cleaned and disinfected before and after every class. We also have hand sanitizer and disinfectant available to be used during all classes. Masks - Masks are only required to be worn if required by local ordinances. If you prefer to wear a mask, you can bring your own. If you forget to bring a mask we can provide one free of charge. Gloves - Gloves will be provided free of charge if any classes require tools to be shared by multiple attendees during the same class. [email protected] or call your local store. Are there any age requirements to participate in the class? This class is only for attendees, who are 18 years of age or older. To schedule a class for an attendee, who is under the age of 18, please contact your local store for details. Do I need any safety equipment or special clothing? Safety glasses will be provided free of charge. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves need to be rolled up, long hair needs to be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes. Can I cancel if I can't make it? If you wish to cancel, you must do so 7 days before the class start date in order to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 7 days of the class start date. Refunds will not include Eventbrite's fees.
