Description

BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions. One of their available pets is Sheba, a 1-year-old female pit bull mix. Here's a full description of Sheba from the Islip Animal Shelter Facebook page: Say hello to Sheba! This smiley little girl is a 1yr old Pit x who is always ready to play! She has a ton of playful energy and would do best in a home with a yard to run around in and someone to play fetch with. Playing Ball is her favorite activity and people are her favorite companions. Sheba is still being dog tested, but as of now needs a home with no other pets. She is still a young pup and needs basic training on and off-leash. With plenty of exercise, training, and extra love we know Sheba can thrive in her new home.To find out more information on Sheba, check out her profile here. The Islip Animal Shelter is located on 210 S Denver Avenue in Bay Shore. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the Islip Animal Shelter, visit their Facebook page here.
