We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk and Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate outgoing shipment activities and general logistics. This role aims to achieve company objectives by performing at a high level as part of our warehouse team. As a Shipping Clerk, to process error-free shipments ensuring the least cost to the company or customer. As a warehouse associate, to assist in the process of inbound shipments quickly and efficiently. To perform cycle counts and inventory maintenance with a high level of accuracy. Pick, pack, receiving, warehouse clean up, and shipping are all areas in the position's scope. The candidate should have the following abilities: · Ability to move between all warehouse areas as needed, especially when business level increases or staff is absent. · Ability to stay motivated during both peak and non-peak times. · Ability to independently problem-solve issues as they arise during order selection, pack, receiving, shipping, or inventory control. · Ability to physically move boxes up to 50lbs unassisted. · Ability to stand for long periods of time. Demonstrate responsibility to the team, reliable, able to accept accountability, and self-motivated to achieve personal and company goals. Eagar to learn and teach. KEY DELIVERABLES (initial 6-12 months): Quality work in each of the warehouse areas. High level of productivity during both peak and non-peak times. Strong communication within the company to assist in advancing company objectives. Arrange appropriate shipping transportation of products, packages and pallets. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields preferred Ability to handle physical workload Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Forklift experience is preferred Computer skills or software experience, Clipper Ship, WorldShip Honest, hardworking, constantly reliable Willing to take the initiative to improve processes as warehouse flow evolves, increasing productivity.
