Job Description Water Damage Restoration Technician PuroClean of Chandler is a national restoration & disaster cleanup franchise located in the East Valley of the Phoenix Metro. We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to join our emergency mitigation team, which mitigates property damage after disasters involving Floods, Fires, Mold Damage, Biohazard, Hoarding, and Contents Damage. Our customers are almost always in crisis mode and have no idea how to handle the situation, which is where we come in. We approach each situation cool, calm and collected and handle the loss with Professionalism, Competency and Urgency which is why we are known as the "Paramedics of Property Damage". This position is a full-time and potential candidates will be required to be on-call after regular business hours for emergencies, which includes nights and weekends, on a rotation basis. If you are seeking a regular 9-5 job, this is not the right position as we are in the emergency services industry, and emergencies can happen at any time, and frequently do occur at night and at inconvenient times. The candidate will be required to work on-call on a weekly rotation basis. We do offer after-hours bonuses, on-call pay and performance bonuses to help reward work ethic and loyalty. Core Company Values Integrity-We Do the Right thing even when no one is watching Positive Attitude-We are upbeat and eager to serve Competent-We place a strong emphasis on increasing our knowledge by seeking out continuing education, learning the intricacies of industry standards and evolving best practices Faithful-We follow through with all the commitments we make to each other and our customers Professional-We hold ourselves and our team members to the highest of standards and conduct Betterment-We continuously strive to improve daily in all that we do Qualifications & Requirements Prior industry experience strongly preferred Ability to Stay Calm in Stressful Situations A Stable Work History Water Restoration Technician (WRT) IICRC Certification strongly preferred A Strong Work Ethic A Neat, Clean, Well-Groomed Appearance Drug-Free, Clean Criminal & Driving Background Must live within 5-20 minutes of our location due to emergency response times required Able to perform physical labor and able to lift 75 lbs, including entering crawl spaces in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and in adverse weather conditions Must be able to read and write fluently in English Ability to work independently and within a team. Must be able to resolve conflict with coworkers in a healthy manner Professional personality with an emphasis on customer care Positive attitude Experience with power tools and hand tools Must own personal basic hand tools necessary for demolition Job responsibilities include Respond to emergency losses for Water, Fire, Mold, Biohazard/Trauma, Hoarding, Contents- at any given time, urgently and safely. Professional communication with your team members, customers, and insurance adjusters Setup and use restoration equipment Remove affected building materials as necessary Driving company vehicles Completion of the industry via paperwork and software programs Cleaning, moving, and packing of contents Use of power tools Must be willing to work longer hours during peak season (Summer/Fall) Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles per company protocol 60-90 minute emergency response time Take photos and use appropriate company forms to document the work properly.
