Press release from the City of Norfolk: Posted on: April 29, 2021 NORFOLK - The Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) pile driving activities will take place throughout the HRBT Expansion project corridor on I-64 eastbound and westbound from Settlers Landing Road to I-564. Residents living and working near the HRBT Expansion Project limits may experience some noise impacts. What: Pile driving activities to install the foundations to support the newly constructed bridges, and temporary work tres When: Daily, Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until sunset. Where: I-64 eastbound and westbound from Settlers Landing Road to I-564. All construction schedules are pending weather or unforeseen circumstances.
